Best wishes to a speedy recovery, Fossil. I know you'll win jus' like you said!
We do miss you around here.
BTW, I read that "Story of Texas A and M" book you recommended a while back... that was outstanding. I wish every prospective student had to read it before they were admitted!
Prayers sent. I've enjoyed your posts on the history of TAMC/TAMU.
I always studied on the third floor of Sterling C. Evans next to the shelves with the old Longhorns, Aggielands and AMC Course catalogs. I would study an hour, then browse through one of the year books or catalogs, then back to work. Over 3 years of pre-vet and 4 years of vet school, I aquired a deep appreciation of the history of the college and campus.
Fossil - You have been a wealth of information for us all. I refer to your posts frequently in my work at the City of CS. I am so sorry to hear about your stroke. Bless your heart! How's your speech? I bet it wouldn't be too difficult to find someone nearby who would gladly type as you spoke while you are in recovery. I'll be the first to volunteer! There are a lot of folks on TexAgs who would line up right behind me. Just say the word!
Fossil Ag, I've enjoyed your posts -- especially your reminiscing about how Aggieland used to be and showing photos of our history. Will be thinking about you and praying for your speedy recovery. God bless.
O Christ, Thou Physician of our souls and bodies, grant thy servant pardon and forgiveness of sins and healing of soul and body. Guide the hearts, minds, and hands of his doctors, and bring him to full recovery.
Best wishes for a speedy recovery Fossil! I'll continue to remember you in my prayers.
