We always seem like such a small percentage at A&M. We might as well be considered in the out of state numbers for the university.

I am not from El Paso, but lived there for 4 years. I met a lot of people that went off to UT, A&M, or somewhere else for a year or two, but could not stand to be away form their families and moved back and went to UTEP. A very strange place El Paso is in that regard.

all the ep ags that i knew at a&m were pretty cool. toooombs was the only ep ag i knew that stayed true to his roots by saying no to dallas so he could return home to the sun city upon graduation.

jaun, I have noticed that with a lot of my friends. One had practically a full ride to Northwestern I think and one other school for music, and ended up going to NMSU. For a time he was enrolled in two universities because he couldn't make up his mind. In fact, it was 2 weeks before school started. Really weird situation.

2012, however I will be graduating in 2013. I did an internship at Disney my second semester, so I have been gone over 8 months.

Austin High School Class of 1956. Third generation El Pasoan. Family has been in El Paso since 1881.

Went to A&M and then the Army for two years and then back to El Paso. Worked in EP from 1964 until 1980 when I moved. Tripled my income in the first year after leaving. Never looked back.

My family has gone from about 70 members to now just one cousin. I love my hometown but it just isn't the place for me to live any longer.

I tried Chico's once, but eh, not my thing. Now Leo's on the other hand . . .

Was at the Chicken one time back in 92 and I overheard two guys standing behind me talking about missing Chico's. I turned around and asked if they were from El Paso. (Dumb question I know) Yup. From El Paso.

Wow...I want good Mexican food now. I could kill for some gorditas from little dinner or some tamales from Lupitas.

Class of 06, graduated 07. Went to Americas. Very few El Pasoans, and only one or two from the Eastside. El Paso thinks that other school is the place to be. Little do they know.
