What can a person do to make a living in Marfa Texas?

Other than the tomato farms in Ft Davis, I don't really know of any industry in the Marfa area. You have the basic neeeds services of the residents and a small amount of tourism.

I thought they had Wind Turbine Generators out that way.

Closer to Ft Stockton, Iraan and McCamey. We are wiring a new Operations building 30 miles SE of Ft Stockton. 12 hr days. You have to be on site at 7A for BP Wind mandatory stretching exercises and safety meeting.

You could work in the Prada store.

Open a bookstore, or a 4 star restuarant in the middle of nowhere. That place is realy strange, in a cool way

It's an artsy place. So open an art store.

I have also heard it's a huge attraction to people who fly gliders. Something to do with the updrafts coming of some unique mountain formations.

Host some Marta lights tours. Sure it's free to see them, but maybe you could get some chumps to listen to you tell some stories/theories about them.
