An O&G Service company is looking to bring on a permenant Technical Writer to their Midland locations.

Job Summary:

The Technical Writer assists the Segment Sales Engineer and DESC Engineers with technical and support tasks.


Responsibilities:

• Assist Sales Engineers in responding to Request for Quotation or Proposal
o Utilizing programs to job design and pricing (CADE’s, Wellbook, and Pricing Tool)
• Basic skills to enable the preparation of technical design programs (CADE’s)
o Advanced skills required with time to Perform modeling and/or analysis for special projects
• Communicate with the Division Hub Coordinators on scheduling, treatment programs, lab tests and other documents required for client information.
• Assist in large Tenders and Bid packages.
• Research specific activity and job history
• Research through public data to determine activity and production information
• Support Sales team for internal and external presentations.

Education & Experience:

• Degrees in the following disciplines:
o Petroleum Technology
o Chemical Engineering Technology
o Chemistry Lab Technology
o Mechanical Engineering Technology
• Math or Science focussed degree plan
• Mid-Career hires with related oil and gas experience
• Math or Science Teaching Experience
