definitely, when i was younger i was a ballboy for utep when haskins was coaching...got to sit right behind coach haskins...one night when he got mad, i was filling up some cups of water and then all of a sudden a chair came flying back at me....he had gotten pissed at the refs and hit the chair next to him...the chair on his left was usually always empty for that reason.

The paper the other day said we're going to have a screening, most likely at Haskins Center, at the end of November!

Since you are on the topic of basketball, hopefully I can humor you with this story. I was at A&M when going to basketball games was something you did when you didn't feel like getting a root canal. One night the UNM Lobos came to town so I had to go to G. Rollie to check it out since I was raised in EP to hate the Lobos. Anyway, right in the middle of the A&M student side on the front row were these two Aggie students wearing orange UTEP Basketball t-shirts. I figured they must be from El Paso because of the shirts and how much of a hard time they were giving the Lobos. For a native El Pasoan at A&M, it was hilarious. Of course the Lobos won by around 300 points. Whatever happened to Tony Barone?

saw the movie tonight...i thought it was excellent! very good sports movie, ranks up there with rudy and hoosiers.

p.s. if you go to see the movie stay until the very end of the credits, there are real interviews with don haskins and the real players as well as pat riley
