I'll be traveling in Odessa on Saturday and I'm wondering if Aggie football is carried on a radio station there since I will not be around a TV set or a computer. Anybody know? Thanks.

KGKL-960 AM out of San Angelo used to have pretty good range, I could pick it up on the tractor back home, about 130 miles to the north.

KBST-AM 1490 from Big Spring is closer to Odessa, but I'm not sure how strong their signal is.

The lady that is running our radio station in Big Spring, is a tsip/tech fan. SO, if either one of those is playing, they take priority over the Good Guys. Plus, Big Spring is in the playoffs vs. Pampa at Lowery Field in Lubbock, tomorrow at 1P. Your best bet is a Sirius Radio.

Unless they have upgraded since this past December you are good to get it in Wall or Sterling City!

1360 out of Andrews is your best bet, and even then it's pretty dodgy. Find a computer with speakers.

I got KGKL all the way to Odessa on Saturday. I am not saying the signal was great, but it worked.

Really, EMc77?? I've always been able to get it pretty decently up in Stamford and even 30 miles farther north, up between Haskell and Munday.

WestTx- Before I moved to TN this year, I had to make several trips a month to DFW for work from Angelo. When they changed formats I would try to listen to them and it was difficult to get them in Ballinger. Driving home to Wall at night (12 mi) at night it was sometimes sketchy.

So, thus my statement. I remember when driving to College Station during school I could listen to it to almost Llano.

Ahh, I have not listened to it in a while, so maybe things have changed.
