The RS is on the Concho River (of course) where the Stage itself sits close to the River and is open in the front and back. There is a large slab in front of the raised stage that measure somewhere around 100x200 ft....Plenty of room for standing close (within 10 ft or so) to the performer, or for dancing.
Then from the slab, there is a hill where "stair-step" seating has been cut into the side of the hill with limestone rocks holding the "steps" together.
By close to sundown and after there is normally a nice breeze and plenty of room to dance, get close, spread out a blanket or couch, and enjoy.
Hope that helps and see ya here....89
