I'm going to be spending next week out in Ozona, Texas for work. I've been there one night before, but we ate at Sonic. Where are the better places to eat?

P.S. I'd rather stay away from the house in the southwest part of town that has "five-0 can't stop the drugs" spray painted on the side.

I haven't been in Ozona in about 2 years, but at the time they didn't have a Sonic! They did have several good restaurants, though. The Hitchin' Post is excellent. I loved their steak fingers. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the meals they have there. They have a salad bar, but it really wasn't much to brag about. They had a couple of Mexican restaurants that were really good, but I can't recall the names. One was on the other side of I10 from most of town. At the time, it had an all-you-can-eat lunch buffet that was very good. The other Mexican restaurant was on the same street as the Hitchin' Post, but was closer to the main street.

I can't think of any others right now, but if I do, I'll post them. Do you recall where the Sonic is? (Just curious)
