I been meaning to tell you squid

we had another great year at the Aggie Fry booth. I don't know the exact totals, but still something like over 10,000 lbs of potatoes sold. Probably 1,000 man hours or so. who knows how many gallons of ketchup and nasty nacho cheese sauce.

anyway, another interesting fact for your consideration. I looked and made note that fully 50% or more of the individuals tasked with sweeping the midway and emptying the trash cans were attired in burnt orange tu hats and tshirts. It was almost like a uniform for them. I didn't ask, but that wasn't the local Texas Exes fund raiser was it ?

yeah I've got a friend of a friend (Tallant) that worked out there alot, said it was a great year for yall. I ate my share of 'em too.

and yes, I noticed the midway/carnys too, one of the gals working the ferris wheel had a Texas shirt on that didnt cover enough of her more than 'ample' beer gut. Made me so proud to be a t-shirt sip along with her.....

I helped sell them Aggie fries this year.

Does the Abilene Aggie Club funnel all that into scholarships? just wondering........

I'm pretty sure all proceeds go to scholies for local kids.
