(Do you consider Del Rio a part of South or West Texas? -- just wondering if I put this on the right board)

I'll be in Del Rio for 6 weeks this summer and was curious about the night life, recreational activities in the area.

Advice on things to do or see would be appreciated...and places to stay away from!

Only been there once and that was years ago. I loved the weather (seriously). VERY dry.

I would say West Texas. Been there about 30 years ago and went to Mexico. Really do not remember much about that place.

Go to Lando's in Acuna? Blondy's ( Calderon) in near downtown. For some reason the Bar at the Ramada is popular.
