I'm looking at starting a small part time business (after work & weekends) here and want to slowly move to running it full time as it grows.

Has anyone on here done that? How has it worked out? What's the best market to get into here in the Valley?

actually you will have to be more specific on what kind of business you are looking to start. i grew up there and my father started a business there. as far as starting one goes there are plenty of people in poverty there looking to do the same thing. it is a great place for entrepreneurship but ther hard part about small business is if some one sees you do it part time and be successful, they have family that will do it full time and cheaper so it really does matter what you are talking about. 4 guys that worked for my father started there own pallet manufacturing business and as far as i know are still in business.
