And then you will have FBI, Military Intelligence, etc.,etc., up there trying to catch whoever is being paid off and corrupted.

The only reason to militarize the border is to invade Mexico, which I am all for, and take part of it over.

Customs, BP, and many law enforcement agencies are rife with corruption. It is a terrible idea to have that cancer spread to our military. And make no mistake about it, the military is not set up to be a law enforcement agency, and there is going to be very little oversight and or methods to detect corruption and law breaking in it.

Sad, sad, sad is all this is. Troops on the border would be a terrible thing.

Now, was there an actual shoot out on the international bridge? Or was there a running gun fight about a mile or more from the bridge, across from the HEB in central Reynosa? Which one was it? Or was there something I missed? I am not in the Valley right now, but I do follow the news daily and I never heard of a shootout on the bridge.

If he actually researched this type of scenario he would know that it has been tried and has resulted in terrible consequences.

The last time troops were deployed down there a kid ended up with a bullet in the heart thanks to an antsy sniper.

There needs to be more tactic when handling this situation. More brain than brawn in this case.
