Does anyone know about the Frio River? Best places to see it or swim in it? I've always heard about it, but never been and want to take the family.

A lot of people go to Concan. Garner State Park is there or there are also various cabins and such for rent. You can rent tubes from just about any store there and just go to the nearest low water crossing and jump in.

We've always stayed in Concan at Yeargan's River Bend. We've been going there over 20 years. Very nice place, and great owners!!

The frio pecan farm in Leakey by far the best place

The Pecan Farm is nice.

Cannot recommend the State Park anymore.

How are the prices on those other parks? It has been years since I have been up in that area. Want to head back but on a not so extensive budget.
