just one more reason to avoid going to brownsville

We're just so used to it that it's become a part of our lives. That's one of the reasons I decided not to go to Brownsville this SB.

Obviously the people that create all the violence want us to be scared, especially as outsiders. This gives them more control and instills the "no one is coming to save you" fear into the innocent people being victimized in Mexico.

I'm traveling to Monterrey via bus next month to take a flight to Cabo. I took the violence in consideration but in the end decided that I wouldn't let them dictate my travel plans. Of course not shortly after the U.S. issued a traveling warning on that route and I've been praying ever since!
