bro in law has a house here, and we got to take his boat out to there. Although you do not even need a boat because the reds and trout swim up the mouth of the river any way. Perfect place to be for fishing. Even though lately the river has not had anything in it because of all the fresh water.





got tons of cat fish though. apparently during the last hurricane the river was three feet above the dock. i will be back with more pictures of flooded areas.



and for the first time, i have often heard about them, but i saw 2 alligators in the Arroyo Colorado. one was a 7 footer.

there are some decent flounder spots just north of the mouth along the bank

the mapping software is the US Geological Surveying Topography Map.

i never realized the benefit of having a house or place along the arroyo or in arroyo city.

now i can see the benefits......and eat them.
