i drove past it on my way back from work, saw the line, and kept on driving

My brother in law went out there on Wednesday saw the madness, turned around and drove back home.

Said it was insane.

I did a speaking gig in Harlingen on the day after opening day and a lady that worked at the store was in my session. She said it was crazy!

I went by with my family while I was visiting the Valley for Thanksgiving. Lots of cars in the parking lot, but the place is huge.

Don't let the crowd scare you off. The people seem to congregate in certain areas and most of the store isn't crowded.

I've been to these stores all over the country. This one seemed pretty standard except for the bowling alley (which I have no interest in).

My dad's a big fisherman. He was surprised by the lack of saltwater gear, given the location.

I'm more into hiking/camping and that sort of thing.

Should be a nice store to have if you live in the Harlingen area. You can (or at least I could) kill a half our in a good outdoors store, even without buying anything.
