Well, I'm no help, then, as I've driven through Hebbronville twice. Throw out what you're looking for and you might have some luck getting better info.

Have a possible job opportunity here and just wanting to know what the community is like. Good place to raise a family? Pros/cons of living here?

Depends on what you are expecting. Very small town with a marginal school district. It is a long way to a town of any size (Laredo). Not much to do. Don't have a police department, just the county sheriff's office. If you are looking for a coaching job it might be a good first start but not much in the way of a step up. It takes a while for outsiders to get to liking the valley, so if you haven't lived in this area before (or your family), you and your family need to do more than cursory visit before you sign up.

I have several friends who work in Hebronville as Border Patrol Agents. They all live in either Laredo or the Valley (Edinburg Area)& commute daily. There really isn't much there to do unless you enjoy hunting.

My Hebbronville experience was back "in the middle ages" (1930-1943), so it wont afford any current meaningful insights.

On the contrary, your experiences 70 to 80 years ago are probably very similar to the way things still are in Hebbronville.

I got pulled over by a cop for speeding in there....he was a arse. I stop at a gas station with a pizza inn on the way to Zapata. My impression, classic middle of nowwhere dieing town with nothing to do.

Damn good burger on south side of town

Damn good BBQ on north side at the little red shack

Absolutely nothing in between.

That place sucked 40 years ago doubt it got better.
