Where can you get the best pork ribs in the RGV?

I am getting ready for the Ark. game!

The best pork ribs in the RGV are smoked in my backyard on a custom ProPits rig, FYI. I can't offer much help regarding store-bought.

Johnny's in Pharr is gone? That sucks big time. I liked that place a lot. For years they had a $.99 sandwich special. In HS we would hit it for lunch and for $2.14 you got plenty.

They did have very good ribs. He had a food service junk yard behind his place.

I had ribs at Rudy's the other day and they were very average.

Seems to me that all these new joints cooking baby backs go waaaay too soft and mushy at the end

You cook baby backs when you don't know how to BBQ, in my opinion.
