Running Trails in Edinburg

Going to be down there in a few weeks for work for about 4 days. Are there any good local trails that people run on that are easy to get too. Or is it just best to go to the utpa track or something. Never been to Edinburg, so don't know where anything is. Not sure what hotel the company will use yet.

The main running trail is in McAllen along 2nd street from Trenton all the way south of the expressway.

Even working in Edinburg I would think there's a good chance you would stay some place like Embassy Suites in McAllen right by the trail.
