Has anyone eaten at the "Mrs. G's place over near McHi? I was told that this was actually her daughter but that she is putting out the good stuff. I have always been a supporter of El Pato (the owner is a friend) but the quality has suffered and the prices have gotten very high.

Hmmm... I gotta go. Mrs OVR and I are going to go see Ender's Game (you can bet it was her idea:-) at 11:40 a the movies six today for $1.25 per person. (If you are old and retired you can go to the movies at times when no one else is there and for a cheap price.)
Afterwards we are going to come back up 23rd and get me some PATOS!!

It is very, very good. I usually hit it when I am in town. I am non-recovering addict to Chicken-Cheese-Avacado.

On Saturday their assorted plate is on sale for $5.99, hellofadeal.

But I don't think it has any seating, take out only.

Much better than the current version of The Duck. RIP El Pato as it once was.

Good info. We didn't make it yesterday - had to go pick up the grandkids from school after the show. Mrs. OVR is teaching a class this morning on computer digitizing and afterwards maybe I'll have her go by and pick up some of the good stuff!

OK. Got some Patos (tacos) today for lunch and they were excellent. Its pretty inconvenient to get to and there is no place to sit and eat but certainly a step up from El Patos and the prices are much better.

My dad's office was over that way so I'd grab some for us whenever we had lunch. Good stuff.
