She is driving me crazy. Maybe channel 5 won't come to an agreement and they will stop putting it on Direct TV. The last thing she said was that it was going to be 35 with a wind chill factor in the 20s. The she said that we should cover out exposed pipes! I sent her an e-mail and asked her why she did this and that the chill factor doesn't freeze pipes. She was indignatnt and said if I didn't like the weather forecast I should call the National weather folks in Brownsville. What an idiot and to think she graduated for the high profile weather school at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.

Yeah I am not worried about the roads unless it's well under 30 degrees and WET and I'm not worried about exposed pipes unless it's in the low 20s for a while.

Here is the exact wording from the NWS (nothing about pipes)

The National Weather Service in Brownsville has issued a freeze
warning... which is in effect from midnight tonight to 8 am CST
Wednesday. The freeze watch is no longer in effect.

* Temperature... 29 to 32 degrees.

* Timing... midnight to 8 am.

* Impact... some damage is possible to cold sensitive plants and
crops. Plan to cover plants or bring indoors during the next 24
hour. Arrangements should be considered for persons without
adequate shelter... outdoor pets and animals.
