So my sister lives in McAllen and is a single mother with two teenage sons. Well, one of them just started driving and my sister ended up purchasing a Toyota Corolla less than a year ago to make things easier for her not having to be running both of the boys around town for different things.

Well, she called me last night and told me that some POS ran into the corner of his car and left the scene without stopping. There was some damage to the right front bumper and headlight but he was OK and the car is drivable.

Do any of you know where she can take it or know of anyone who can work with her on getting the car fixed without filing a claim? She has a $500 deductable and isn't sure if the damage is worth that much.

Any recommendations or help with this would be greatly appreciated. And sorry for the long post....

Vic's in Pharr, but they aren't cheap by Valley standards.

There are a multitude of body shops in the Valley that do decent work and are not that expensive. Have her ask around where she works, that might be the best thing.

Probably too far to mess with, but Luke Fruia in Brownsville has an Ag' owner and GM, they do excellent work and are decent folks.
