Starting a fishing spot list for shore or walk-in fishing in the LRGVD.

I will start.

Today I went to the boat ramp on 48 between PI and Brown Town. No bites but lots of moving water.

Going to try our Cameron County Reservoir #2 tomorrow.

fish under the lights at sandcastle apartments on kingfish Street on South Padre, produces nice keeper specs. Use gulps if ur hungry.. never caught larger than 23in.. I've got at least 100 spots in South Texas for both fresh and saltwater, will periodically post a few for you..

Went to the jetties this weekend and it was beautiful. High tide with blue clear water. Wish I would have had some goggles. Caught a bunch of baby sheephead. Saw a guitar fish.

Jetties can be really good at times. Best around strong tide movement in either direction.

Walk along the edge and look for an eddy current and fish a few feet under a cork or freeline a nice size shrimp. Live is better but fresh dead will work.

We've caught everything from little sheepshead to gray/mangrove snapper to big ass black drum.
