I can't confirm but hearing that up to 6 people in the hospital and 2 in critical condition due to shark attacks at SPI. Have seen a few very graphic photos (that I wish I didn't and would never share) from people I know down there. Prayers up and be safe!

I got bit by a hood rat from las milpas on the beaches of SPI once or twice. I learned my lesson about hood rat encounters.
