I don't like smoking. I don't want it in my home or in my car. I don't like smelling it in the places where I go to eat.
However, I like to make my own choices. I don't like for a group of city commissioners, who may not be looking out after the best interests of the townspeople, making these kinds of decisions.
If there was this huge groundswell of people that are extremely opposed to smoking, why did those places stay in business. There would have been all kinds of smoke-free eating establishments springing up.
I suppose that it will make us all live longer. Our state legislature was sure serious about the health problem. The took the billions from the tobacco companies earmarked for cancer health care and spent it on ...? (Not healthcare)
