I live in Tyler and Bernard's is incredible as well... seafood and steak very nice dress up place... this mite be too late sorry

I can throw a rock from my apartment and hit Bernard's.

It is a nice place, but you do not have to get dresses up. I have been there a few times and it was casual. No shorts or anything, but nice jeans and polo will work.

Good suggestion.

How about this:

Cut out the **** crap and just goto Outback. Get a blooming onion and some prime rib.
