It sounds like Van got hit by a strong tornado around 9 PM. 20+ injuries some severe enough that they are busing them to hospitals. Other possible less severe tornadoes around the area also this evening. Large hail and 6"+ of rain are also a threat.

Fire marshal there is reporting 43 injuries, 8 missing and 2 fatalities. It sounds like my co-worker's house was hit to some degree; this is the second time she has had storm damage this year.
