I was thinking about trying to get a place that is an hour away or less from Texarkana. It could be in Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, or Oklahoma. Someplace I could keep my pop-up trailer year round and hopefully have access to running water and electricity. Access to a lake would be nice.
I sort of want this to be done on the cheap and yet also have a decent probability of the property rising in value in the next 10 to 20 years. I know it's a pretty broad and vague question. What brought it up is I don't want to spend $50-$75 a month storing a pop-up camper so I thought I would just buy land put it on. I guess a 1/2 acre would work. I found a place near Hot Springs but they have $570 a year HOA fees.
