Enjoy the game. I will not be able to attend. I was at the game last year, and it was hard to take.

I was a Sr when we won the title in 90. That was a fun time. I still say the best team ever to come out of Marshall was the 88 team that lost to Carter. That team had some serious talent.

Getting those would be easy. Being from Marshall, and a former athlete from there, you can always get into the football games. Just part of the gig when from a small town like that.

This game is really getting some media attention. I guess playing Highland Park will do that. I do not remember this type of exposure when we played Converse Judson for the 5A title in 1990. Even last year, when we played Ennis, there was not as much hoopla about it.

Looks like the HP coach not wanting to play in a neutral site and going for a coin flip, has a lot of their fans mad. Oh well...nothing like playing an East Texas team in East Texas. Ought to be a really good game.

Up here in Dallas they are saying that those tickets are impossible to come across.

I work in a building that has a ticket attractions location in it..On the front door, they say "HP/Marshall tickets - Will pay top dollar"

people are freakin out so much about this...you can still get tickets at the gate at 2...just get there early and get in line...

yeah the capacity is 14000....but the grass hills can get alot more...Lufkin played Longview there 2 years ago and 23000 were there

I went to Lee and there used to be a lot of folks packed in there for the jt-Lee game. Dont know the attendance but I would say around 20,000.

HP is just mad that they have to travel. Should be a great game at the Rose.
