Anyone attending TAMU-C and in the college of education? How is the program these days? Who are the good profs? Just curious...been away for a very long time.

I went to summer school there once......not so fun

That campus sucks. Parking is a huge pain in the ass and then you have to walk 500 miles to class. Luckily I was only there for a semester.

I went there for 2 years back in 99 and 00 before transferring down to A&M. I dont know if the parking has changed, but when I went there we "thought" it was a problem. After tranferring I realized that it was not bad at all. Overall I enjoyed my time there it made the growth from HS to college easier to handle, but wish I would have spent all my college career in College Station.

They should never have named it Texas A&M Commerce. If they were going to change the name, it should have been Sam Rayburn State University.

But what the hell... it doesn't matter anyway.

The worst thing about A&M-Commerce, is that the retards from around my hometown automatically assume that that is where I went whenever I say I went to A&M because it is only 45 min. away. It's really not that big of a deal, just a personal pet peeve of mine.

and went to college at ET on a diary scholarship.

There are a LOT of liquor stores in such a "Baptist" town. The actual liquor stores are attached to a small grocery (think along the lines of a Diamond Shamrock). Each grocery had a drive through window...right after church, just drive through and pick up your case...if you didn't go into the store to touch the beer, it didn't "count???"
