Just curious. I am a Kelso living in Dallas now and just wanted to know if anyone is on here that I am related to.

I know a Kelso in Galveston--does that help?

Just curious, where did you move from and why are you asking people on the gulf coast if you are in Dallas?

Haha, sorry, I know it was really random. Just connected with some relatives lately that I haven't seen in years, and I know some went to A&M. Just thought I would see if I could reconnect with anyone else. I haven't lived in Galveston in years, but we lived on Beluche when we did. My grandmother passed away about a year ago, but she lived on Galveston her whole life so we visited frequently. Just thought I would check and see if there was anyone on here I knew.

Yep, she was my grandmother. I am her son Larry's youngest kid.

I used to be on the Animal Shelter Board with her and visited her once at their house in Colorado--forgot the little town name-- Almont??

I know John Kelso. He lives in the same neighborhood I grew up in. I also know Mark Kelso. Mark is closer to my age. Both are fine gentlemen. The Kelso name is very well respected in Galveston.

Thanks for the kind words about my grandmother. She was pretty great, and certainly a character. Glad you got to go to the place in Almont. That is probably my favorite place in the world. We still have that house and try to get up there a couple times a year.

Yep, Mark and John are great guys. I think I saw John at my grandmother's funeral, but Mark is in Delaware last I checked.

Haha yep. Crazy. Paxton and his wife are in Dallas as well with their first kid. I don't think he gets on here very often though.

I saw John and his son Scott this weekend at the cookoff. I was telling Scott about this conversation. He didn't seem to remember you or Paxton. Ya'll need to get together more often!

Yeah, the name Scott rings a bell but I don't think I have seen him in years. Might be a contextual thing. If he saw me with my dad, he would probably put it together and vice versa.
