how long ago did u do this ? We`re trying to get the Nederland Ave. cruise the strip again going on Saturdays.

I graduated from Forest Park/West Brook in 1983 so that was the time period I reference. I don't know when it stopped.

We called Nederland Ave "the drag" and we were there a lot in 84-86 (Jr. and Sr. years in High School).

Yes. I went to Forest Park for three years then it was of course West Brook my senior year.

We cruised the Nederland strip back then as well. For some reason I remember the Nederland strip being a big thing to do Saturday or Sunday afternoon.
