What the hell is a Rock-A-Noo? I know it's the volleyball mascot/nickname, but what exactly is a Rock-A-Noo?

Anyone? I figured if a PN-G or Nederland sports topic was posted, some sort of bat-signal type alert went out.

Nobody knows unless they played volleyball at PNG. It's like a 'members only' type deal. I'm actaully amazed that it has gone this long without even 1 person spilling it.

1. Somebody at some point has gotten drunk and spilled the beans. Somebody out there knows it.

2. Quirky "members only" stuff like this is usually an internal secret, and many organizations have them. Handshakes, passwords, rituals, etc. These internal secrets might even include gibberish. But it is unusual, it seems, that the secretive gibberish is the mascot itself, or in the case of a secretive club, the name of the club itself. And even more unusual is jettisoning an official school mascot and replacing it with this secret, um, thing.

Anyway, just wondering. No need for any Rock-a-noos to get mad or anything.

I asked a girl that transferred to HF with me our senior year what it was, she wouldn't tell me either. Tried to get her drunk and tell me, failed at that too.

I went to PNG and have no idea and never cared.
