Alright time to use the power of TexAgs.

Looking for a bar/pub in Corpus Christi area(including Padre Island) to go have drinks with somebody. Not interested in your dance club type of place. Somewhere that we can relax( she's dealing with major work stress, and just moved here)and have a nice conversation. Never been to anywhere in Corpus, but am familiar with CC. Help a fellow Ag out.

surf club in DT. there are a few places on/off of Water Street and surrounding areas. cool place would be snoopy's at this time. clear, cool and sit outside and watch the water, boats etc.

Rule #1

Surf Club is a nice place downtown. You could also try Mulligans if you are in that area too or Brewster St.

If you are not downtown and more on the southside of corpus there's a dive bar called Murdock's with cheap drinks, pool tables, and foosball.

I'm sure there are plenty more places I haven't been back in a few years.

Burger Bar on the Island. Good food, drinks and great for socializing.

The porch at Padre Island Burger Co would get my vote.
