Since I'll be attending A&M in Galveston rather than College Station, I was wondering what some of everyone's favorite churches in the area are? I realize there no right our wrong answer, but I just wanted to become familiar with some of them

There are quite a lot of churches in Galveston. Think would be better to wait until you get here and talk to some fellow students who have been here for a year or two.
In that time most will have found one they are comfortable wih and enjoy.

Wednesday nights they have a student worship deal called Solace in CLB, like Island said I would go there and ask around.

Moody Methodist has a cool service on Sunday at 11am. It's a celebration service set up in the gym with a stage and band, it's opretty cool to jam/sing most of the service with up beat music and then a cool sermon, but very laid back, shorts and flip flops are my general attire.
