We're taking a family trip to Corpus this weekend.

We have a 6 yr old and 1 yr old.

We will be driving in EARLY Saturday and doing the beach early.

What is there to do for the family? We plan on taking the kids to the aquarium on Sunday we know that much.

The 6yo may enjoy Cole Park. They have a nice size playground right on the Bayfront. Took my 8yo and 10yo and they liked it. Except don't make my mistake and go mid afternoon. Go earlier when it isn't as hot yet

Fajitaville would be a nice place to eat. It's on North Beach next to the aquarium. Nice open first floor that the kiddos can play in the sand of the beach in sight while you hang under the shaded patio

Museum of Science and History might be fun for them or Hurricane Alley Water Park

They may be just a little young but the USS Lexington is really cool.

Which beach are you going to? The Bay or the Gulf?

Also, check and see if the Hooks are in town (AA Baseball). It would be a good Saturday night outing.

Brewster's over by the ballpark isn't a bad place for the family to eat. But I'd stay away from Fajitaville. It is high for CC, the food is nothing special, and the bar is staffed by meth heads. Pier 99 is a much better choice on North Beach. There is also a groovy ice cream
shop called Dotz close to the Aquarium that is a cool place to take kids.

And Cole Park is a good option but is hot during the mid day.
