It's a mess with no end in sight currently.
The folks building it have been sued by a number of vendors/subcontractors who they haven't been paying, over $500K in non-payments so far. Construction is over a year behind already. They are asking the city for changes to their tax incentive agreement for extensions, and they're trying to get more in loans. Millions of taxpayer dollars have gone into this project already.

The clubhouse /pool is open. The rest has, like aggie87 said, been a mess. From what I hear the investors and CEO are not on the same page.

City council approved the extension today. It's a mess

phase 1 and 2 opening this weekend! this includes the lazy river, boogie bahn, a couple waterslides, the bars, and 2 kids areas.
The lazy river is supposed to be the longest in the world at 8000 linear feet.
phase 3 which is the remainder of rides is set for June 21, 2015
