Check with Mario's on the seawall. They have a room upstairs that can be reserved for private parties.

Rehearsal dinner for my oldest brother was at Moody Gardens hotel, before it was Sherns. Dinner for my middle brother was upstairs at Mario's. My rehearsal dinner was at Bubba Gump's. All three were good.

do you have a sense for where most out-of-town guests will be staying? i'd probably try to grab a spot somewhere near there.

if everybody is staying at moody gardens, then i'd definitely recommend it. i would imagine they fill up pretty quick in june though.
