We will be tourists in Corpus Christi on July 4th, have three young kids and would like to watch the fireworks. We'll be staring down near the National Seashore.

Where is the best place to watch the USS Lexington fireworks given we want to get out fairly quick afterwards, would Cole Park be good?

I don't think they are going to be at the Lex. I think they are launching from the Peoples street t-head.

Cole Park would be a great viewing place. But likely lots of other people. Parking would pry be tough unless you got there early.

Stay on the island!!!
Our show is just as big. it will be at the end of whitecap dr. ( on the Laguna side) at sundown sat night.
The crowd and people in town will not be a good time.

Funny you say that, we just found out that is going on. We are staying at east end of Whitecap so it's convenient. Was t sure where to park down there - just in the neighborhoods?
