We are looking to potentially have an in-ground pool installed for our new home. We just recently moved to the League City area. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good, reliable, trusting, and best bang for your buck pool company in the area.

we got bids from three different companies...backyard amenities, bella oasis and aquasport pools. we had personal references for each company from people we know well and trust.

honestly, I liked all three companies and would have been comfortable going with any of them. we chose aquasport pools and have been very satisfied.

I'd recommend spending some time and doing some homework before meeting with any company. as best you can, try to figure out what you want (basic shape, water features, hot tub, etc.) and what your budget is. each company has their own opinions on certain things, like chlorine vs. saltwater, brand of equipment or best decking material.

We used Backyard Amenities and was pleased with everything. Brad, the owner, has been building pools for many years.
