Mandatory evacuation in Brazoria County: West Columbia, Brazoria, Jones Creek, Sweeny, and other areas south of highway 6 and west of highway 288. Does not include Angleton, Lake Jackson, Clute, Freeport, or Richwood.

Evacuation route is hwy 35 west to hwy 71 north.

Buses will pick up evacuees and bring them to Bell county.

My house is behind the trees on the banks of Oyster Creek. About 5 more feet until it floods my house in Lake Jackson. I don't think it will, but who knows. God Bless Texas!
