Public service for those who might be headed to Port A soon. We just got back from a long weekend:

1) Basically zero seaweed. I took long walks and swam for hours.

2) Beach is almost spotless. Been going for 20 years. Zero trash.

3) Beach is packed. Saturday was the most crowded I've ever seen it. Other days were manageable. No masks were seen.

Had a great weekend!

Beaches were very clean. Seaweed and jellyfish minimal. Water was clear. Our only issue was we had a hard time finding somewhere to eat. Restaurants seemed to have low staff counts and were closing early. Only places open after 9:00 pm were Whataburger and Dairy Queen..

Could have been worse if the Whataburger was closed.
