New exemptions feel almost pointless.

I got the standard 10% increase that chases an even greater increase in valuation so you can't ever catch up.

I'm seriously considering a mailbox campaign of imploring all of my second home neighbors to fight their taxes next year. A lot of people are not doing this and it's hurting the rest of us.

We are the only full-time residents within about 20 houses and just looking at ACAD we don't have enough people doing their job here.

Confusingly, it looks like online that our appraisal hearing was held on 11/12 and they actually dropped ours at least a little but it's not reflected in the paper notice we got in the mail. So, my paper notice is higher than it should be based on what I see online so I'll have to go downtown and get this sorted out.
