I just got a call from the National Weather Service in Corpus. I may have a last minute internship with them. I will need a place to stay for the summer. Any advice will be great. Thanks

What part of town would you be working in?

Harbour Landing Apts.
Sugar Tree Apts.
BayPoint Resort Apts.

Airport

Might be better off in Calallen, Tuloso-Midway, or Portland.

All three places i listed are fairly far from the airport, not that corpus is that big. To be a little closer to the airport, look for apts off of Saratoga, south of Weber road and closer to Staples street. Thats the growing part of CC.

I don't think racerfink knows where Portland is

I may be relocating to Corpus myself. There are some gorgeous, new housing areas in the southeast part of town, such as Cimarron Lake Estates. Is that area in the flood plain? I really think I should stay away from a flood plain housing area.

It's right next to Gregory.

Southside of the city is growing like crazy but I question some of the quality of development. Closer you get to the Oso the more likely of flooding issues but it really depends on the subdivision.

Plenty of apartments off Saratoga and SPID for an easy commute and I think some new stuff is going up relatively closer to the Airport, however not the greatest part of town.

Since he grew up and lived in Corpus for most of his life, I'd be willing to bet that he knows where Portland is located.

He' knows where Portland is...it's right across the bridge from North Beach...that place where that hot 21 y/o chick wanted him but he didnt do anything.
