Some of my coworkers and I have been thinking that it would be nice to put a crawfish boil together, but I don't know anyplace that actually sells live crawfish.

All I've really had a chance to check is the Hewitt HEB though. Does anyone have any recommendations on other places to check?

Waco Custom Meats on Lake Air sells them. They also have one of the best crawfish boil parties of the year. I go every year. Cajun band, shrimp, oysters, sausage and of course the BOIL!! BYOB!!! I do know you have to call in advance to order the live crawfish. It comes in daily and it is sold when they get here. talk to Sondra.

Awesome, I was hoping they'd have some, but I never have a chance to run by there to ask. Now I just need to start looking at pots and burners....

The Woodway HEB carries them sometimes, but its very sporatic.

I am having a crawfish boil on April 4th. Will cook 150 lbs. plus corn, potatos, onions, sausage. BYOB

How much do they charge per pound?

I talked to them last week, it varies throughout the season, but right now it's around 3 bucks a pound.
