twin liquors is a good place. There's one in Harker Heights. They have an interesting marketing strategy - sell in bulk. 10% off ANY purchase when you buy two of the item, weekly specials with big discounts on items if you buy two of the item.

Their prices beat Spec's if you buy two. If not, Specs is lower since they give the 5% cash discount.

I have been over there. Since I am just one person and NOT a heavy drinker, their discounts don't help me. I would feel like a fool buy two bottles of rum when one lasts me months. The current one I bought in October and it is still going.

And they don't carry this inexpensive wine from Chile that I love. Specs does. I do buy a bottle of wine every week or two, so that I might buy in bulk.

Seriously, the benefit is if you know somebody that wants the same thing, and you go halfsies. If you're not in that situation, Spec's is better. Plus, Spec's has a bigger selection on just about everything

Address is posted on the entrance glass, w/ suite # A182. That was the address for a permit for a 15,000 sq ft business with the city in December.

They may still be in process for the state liquor license. You have to have a location to apply, and then it could take up to 60 days for TABC approval.

Where exactly is that?
