My mother has moved to Houston so she can be with her grandbabies. Her house is currently on the market. http://waco.fnismls.com/publink/default.aspx?GUID=d480a621-e403-44f6-9276-bde646265147&Report=Yes

North side of Waco near McLennan Community College and Cameron Park. Walking distance to Cedar Ridge Elementary school. Easy commute to Bosqueville/China Spring. Anybody interested, let me know.

Agent Remarks:
"Don't miss out on this darling 2 bedroom cottage w/2 lvg areas. Hardwood floors in front lvg/dining rm, hall and bedrooms. Spacious kitchen w/charming vintage feel has updated dishwasher and recessed refrigerator. Cozy den w/WBFP looks onto beautiful backyard w/large patio. Abundant windows and cheery paint give this home a light and bright feel. Low maintenance vinyl siding, sprinkler system, and storage shed all lend to the great curb appeal of this home."

my daughter is interested in seeing the house...what would be the rock bottom acceptable offer?

Can you show the house or do we contact the agent?

To be honest she's really not going to drop much if any at all right now. It's been on the market for a couple weeks and she's not in a rush to sell either. My mother is staying here in my brother's vacant house for free so she's not paying double mortgages.

Does your daughter have an agent? If not, I can have the agent contact her if that's alright. You can PM me or email me at Kevin@Kevinlwill.com your daughters name and contact info and I'll be happy to have the agent contact her.

As a disclosure, I'm a Realtor here in the Houston area. Thanks for the interest.

HS buddy of mine was living about 2 blocks from there for about 2 or 3 years. He just moved recently after his house got broken in to.

Hollywood, I think nowadays there really isn't a neighborhood to avoid break-ins unless you live in a rich gated or private patrolled community. My dad lives in a nice area of Hewitt and last year he chased down a guy breaking in a neighbors house. My aunt's house in rural China Spring got broken into. You have to prepare your home with adequate lighting and home security. And having dogs help too (I have two large dogs)

That's what attracted my mother. The old style and backyard. She loved the kitchen with the orange counters. If your daughter wants to check it out, let me know.

what street? I grew up on N23- and my mom lives on N 25th now. Went to Cedar ridge 1 and 6 the grades (dad was in AF and we lived in Alaska and Wichita Falls in between), then North Junior on 25th, old Waco High for two years, first senior class out of new Waco High (now part of MCC).

sorry to hijack your thread, but rarely run into folks from the old stomping grounds!

Not trying to be a smart a here, but the link in the OP leads to the listing with the street.

21-A Street

Mom decided to move here to Houston to be with her three new grand-daughters. After a year of looking for a job, she finally found one in the Med Center. The rest of my family lives in Waco and Hewitt.
