Cannot ever remember the name of this place, and can't find it on the internet.

Mexican food, off of Franklin, cloth tablecloths, make guacamole at your table, has oil paintings of famous folks on the wall, BYOB, good food....

Used to be called Se Cocina until the folks at Mi Cocina in DFW took offense.

never heard of that place. Hmmm.....I guess it's good?

It is a direct rip off of mi Cocina. The artwork, hell the menu. I was told it was related but not sure if that is true.

i dont believe they are affiliated at all. they just copied mi cocina - exactly.

If that's what it takes to get a high quality restaurant (or at least a knockoff of one), then I'll take it.

Sebas Cocina is our favorite Waco restaurant. Order the fresh guacamole they make at your table - awesome! For dinner, try the seafood instead of the traditional Mexican fare. My favorite is the grilled sea bass with scallops. To die for!! The service is outstanding too.

My two daughters and a co-worker when there last night for what they hoped would be a festive Cinco de Mayo meal and evening! Their main complaint was chicken quesadillas with absolutely no seasoning at all. A friend of their co-worker ordered chicken fajitas and the chicken was completely white, not even any pepper added to it.

There were FIVE of them at their table and they were the only diners so we can't blame it on a huge crowd. Bad news for another downtown restaurant!

Been there many a time and the food was always good.

The owners at one time did have the blessings of the original to use their menu/a variation of their name as one of them used to work for the real place, but then Sebastian and the other co-owner split thus the name change....
