anyone got any old wood, barn wood or such that you would be willing to sell my son.

He is making a headboard for a queen size bed and we are having trouble finding old wood in Waco. I suggested he buy lumber now and leave it outside through the fall, throw some dirt on it, let his Dad set a coffee mug on it etc....we could old it up in no time.

Take a ride out FM308 between Elm Mott and Malone. There have been a lot of old structures torn down since last spring. You might find something there.

Contact a local fencing company. A lot of times when they put up replacement fences they are asked to haul the old ones away.

If he can wait until spring, there will be several million dead hardwood trees to choose from.
