We have TWC, pay $30 a month and avg around 15-20 mbps down. Their service has always been good. All that said I'm thinking about switching to Grande. $19 a month for 24 mbps down and you get espn3.com with their package. For electricity we have TXU. They've been okay, but we are paying a little higher than other companies would charge.

I'm not sure why the Aggie Energy person. Didn't disclose that Aggie Energy is really just Champion Energy. You can see it if you scroll down on the linked website at the bottom, and in other places. Champion also has deals like this for UT, Baylor and SMU.

It's clearly on the website if you look. And it definitely gives money back to the university, which is a good thing.

But I believe in full disclosure, so people should understand it's not an independent energy company (which is why it isn't on Power To Choose). It's just a program Champion Energy is running. So if you've had positive or negative experiences with Champion Energy in the past, you'll understand the connection if you look into these plans.

Yes, Aggie Energy is partnered with Champion Energy Services. Aggie Energy is designed to provide former students, fans, families, faculty, friends and businesses an opportunity to use their day-to-day energy consumption to contribute to their University’s success.

Houston-based Champion Energy Services is the fastest growing retail electricity provider in the United States.
